The importance of priority...

Yes, needed to post this. Very important in my honest opinion and to be honest it has really brought me down.Since my ranging experience (which I have now paused temporarily), pking experience (lost 600-oddk to it) and melee experience (always been true to me, never let me down) I have come to a desicion on how to keep focused and how to keep going with your goal(s), because when you choose a goal and stick to it, it will keep you alive and fresh throughout your runescape experience.

Top 10 tips to avoid giving up on a goal:
  • 10. The first thing to do when you choose something as your goal is to analyse it and see how it will work (e.g- 56 strength to 79 strength, work out how many days it will take and see if you really want to do it, etc etc.)
  • 9. The next thing to do is to put it on your OBJECTIVES LIST! Yes, very handy and it shows how far you are to your goal instead of trying to calculate it yourself.
  • 8.Make sure your goal is REACHABLE! Don't ever decide you are going to get 99 in fishing or something like that before you try, it will end up in you getting bored and failing most of the time.
  • 7. If you are going for a big goal (eg 70-90 strength), always break it down into little chunks, so, get 75 first, take a break, then to 79 and take a break etc until you get 90, trust me, it will be more satisfying and maybe also a bit quicker.
  • 6. This goes back to no.7 a bit, in between the breaks if you get tired of non stop training then do a quest, do another skill etc talk to friends in a clan chat because it takes your mind off the tediousness for a while and you feel relaxed.
  • 5. Talk to friends and get in a clan! Normally a good friend will motivate you, keep you going and normally helps you when you get too bored, if they have expirience of it at all.
  • 4. Get an ipod, mp3 etc, it helps you relax so you can just chill when fighting, fishing etc.
  • 3. Going back to no.7 again, inbetween the breaks, analyse how far you've achieved, how long it has taken and see at the rate you are going, how long it will take to get your goal.
  • 2. Never carry on with a goal if you get bored out of your mind , but remember if one method of melee has gotten a bit boring for example, go onto another monster in between breaks or altogether, it might influence you and help you get some extra dosh along the way!
  • 1. Lastly, and this is quite important, NEVER think that you can't do it once you've started, it's pointless and you get into a wrong frame of mind, and when you get that target, always celebrate and reflect over again. =)
Hope this helped, visi my youtube channel slendertouch and I think i might put some vides onto there, thanks for now, see you later!

Ps: Sorry I haven't posted in a while, I was very busy.
